Reduction of the labia minora: More commonly called labiaplasty or nymphoplasty, it is the most sought-after intimate surgery by women, who seek it out when they are bothered by the fact that the labia minora protrude outside the labia majora and consists of removing this “excess”.

The main objective is to increase the self-esteem of the woman who, due to dissatisfaction, avoids changing in collective changing rooms, wearing tight clothes, and is embarrassed during sexual intercourse. It is a minor surgery, with local anesthesia, in which the patient is discharged on the same day and can return to work two days later.

Reduction of the labia majora: There are also cases where a woman is uncomfortable with the appearance of the labia majora, when she considers that there is excess skin or sagging. In this case, a filling is indicated, which makes the skin, previously flaccid, stretch or even the possibility of removing excess skin.

Reduction of the mound of Venus: It is the region above the pubis, a few centimeters below the navel. Some women are uncomfortable when there is an accumulation of fat in the area, making it voluminous. In this case, it is possible to perform liposuction in the region, in order to eliminate the bulging caused by the accumulation of localized fat. These women report discomfort when wearing bikini or tight-fitting clothes as they reveal the extra volume.

Fillers for the labia majora: The most common filler these days is with hyaluronic acid. It is a substance that is applied with needle pricks to the outside of the labia majora, to improve the appearance and hydration of the tissue. The purpose is aesthetic. But it is not a definitive procedure. The effect only lasts for about a year (the substance is absorbed by the body over time).
